Former Lebanese MP Emile Lahoud criticized the US administration's continued imposition of coercive economic measures unilaterally on Syria, especially in light of the conditions of the spread of Corona virus.
"The Americans, through their continued enforcement of these economic measures, have revealed their true intentions towards Syria," Lahoud told a SANA reporter, adding that "the American who stole medical aid to his allies will not expect anything but the worst."
Lahoud pointed out that Syria today is counting on itself and its allies to confront the Corona virus, which exposed the moral and economic reality of the West.
