The Central Region of the Fish Resources Branch in Hama Governorate started receiving requests from owners of licensed fish farms wishing to buy fish fingerlings from the General Authority for Fish Resources.
The branch manager, Eng. Ayman Saqr, stated in a statement to the SANA correspondent today that the owners of licensed farms are entitled to buy fish fingerlings produced by the General Authority for Fish Wealth at the Banyas Age Farm at a nominal price to encourage them to raise and grow fish, indicating that the weight of one finger is between twenty and five and thirty grams.
Saqr pointed out that the fingerlings that will be sold from different varieties, which are general carp, Nasseri, leather, zazan and comb, indicating that the quantity that the owners of licensed farms are entitled to obtain will be according to the estimated area of the farm.
