The customers had been waiting for it: the frequency in the shops, which were allowed to reopen on Monday, was brisk.

Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen - Both customers, owners and sellers had longed for the day. Monday was the day and most of the shops were allowed to reopen after the long Corona break. The Tölz courier asked in stores how the first day went.

Cornelia Seck, "Canvero Accessories", Bad Tölz: "It feels good to have the shop open again. I am full of drive and drive. I have redecorated the last few days because at the time of closing I still had the winter goods in the shop. Today, shortly after opening, there was already a big rush because I have multifunctional wipes on offer that can be used wonderfully as a mask. I guarantee the safety of my customers by means of distance lines on the floor and disinfectant spray, which everyone can use. We'll get used to talking to customers with a mask. Time will tell what will happen next, although I am afraid that people will hold onto the money for now. ”

Hubert Schöffmann, Bookstore Urban, Bad Tölz: “I am really happy that we are open again and that things are running normally again. In the past few weeks, I have been primarily concerned with processing and delivering online orders. The first day there were more customers than I thought. Of course, I had to redesign the shop a bit: I moved the cash register so that customers could move through the shop on a one-way street. And if you need, you can get a disposable mask in addition to hand disinfection if you don't have one. It is of course unusual to see only the eyes now, but the eyes also say a lot. Overall, I cannot complain about the past few weeks. I got through the day well and came back from some delivery tours with more presents than I had books with. For the next few days I will now close the shop at 3 p.m. and extend the times if necessary. "

Barbara and Maximilian Hauser, "men's fashion Hauser", Bad Tölz: "The feeling of being back in the shop is a relief. The past few weeks have been difficult for us, so we are all the happier to be able to serve customers again. Of course, we prepared our shop and attached windows in front of the cash register. In addition, everyone can use the disinfectant here and the distance rules are observed. If you don't have a mask, you get one from us. The number of customers today surprised us a little, it was more than expected. But what was lost last cannot be made up. ”

"Customers accept the distance rules"

Marianne Öttl, staff member "Intersport Peter", Bad Tölz: "It is such a nice feeling that something normal finally comes back. We have some distance rules in the store, for example a one way street. We also point this out to customers with notes. But I have the feeling that they accept this well. If you don't have a mask, you get one from us, and you can of course also disinfect your hands. The rush today was quite good, with our customers specifically looking for what they have not had so easily in the past few weeks. For the time being, we have slightly reduced the opening hours, but we will adjust it if necessary. "

Bettina Krinner, "Photo Bettina Krinner", Lenggries: "I am very pleased that I can open my photo shop again, because I do my job with body and soul. I no longer get the turnover that I have missed in the past few weeks, especially since it is still uncertain when, for example, weddings will take place again. Due to the existing room structure with two entrances, I can take good care of the distance rules. Otherwise I took all precautions. However, business has started somewhat calmly today, as customers are very careful. Many call ahead and ask what is possible. The conversation with the mask is somewhat distant. You have to speak louder and the viewfinder starts to take pictures. But now I just pay more attention to the eyes, which can smile wonderfully. "

Monika Probst, "Housewares Probst", Lenggries: "Opening the business again is very nice. We take great care to comply with the hygiene and distance regulations, for example with their own entrance and exit and signs. We let eight people into the store, and those who don't wear a mask will be sent out immediately. However, most customers adhere to the guidelines. Unfortunately, the masks do not immediately recognize every customer, but we will also get used to them. The amount of customers was what I expected today: quite moved. And many customers are happy that we can be there for them again. (Arndt Prohl)
