Helene Fischer grew up in a working-class district in Siberia
But what many do not know: The Schlager Queen comes from a poor background . Until she was four years old, Helene Fischer lived in the industrial city of Krasnoyarsk in Russia with her older sister, her parents and grandparents.
The Russian-German family lived together in three rooms in an 80 square meter apartment in a prefabricated building, as reported by Bild.de. The family then moved to Germany.
