According to ZDF, the team was on the way to its vehicles after filming. Then the group was attacked. No further details are known about the attack. The police are investigating the backgrounds.

ZDF program director Norbert Himmler condemns the attack. "Freedom of the press is a great asset, especially these days," said Himmler. "However, our concern now is first and foremost for the team members and their health."

May 1st in Berlin: Police in constant use

Because of the planned demonstrations for May 1, which were announced despite the ban in view of the Corona * restrictions, the police in Berlin are in large action.
