(CNN) - The North Korean state media outlet, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), reports that "Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un cut the ribbon to complete the construction of the Sunchon Phosphate Fertilizer Factory."
KCNA reports that there was a "factory completion ceremony" on May Day (May 1), "the international holiday of workers around the world."
KCNA says: “Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Korean Workers Party (WPK), chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the DPRK armed forces, attended the ceremony " No photos of the ceremony have yet appeared.
There has been much speculation about the health of the North Korean leader. He was last seen on April 11 at a meeting of the DPRK politburo according to North Korean media.
CNN cannot independently confirm the KCNA report.
