The meeting of Lebanese parties, forces, and national figures denounced the German government's decision to consider the Lebanese Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, stressing that it represents a humiliating submission to the American pressure aimed at supporting the usurping Zionist entity in Palestine.
A statement issued today from the meeting said that the decision affects a large part of the Lebanese people and constitutes a blow to the Lebanese-German relations and the interests of the two countries, calling on the German government to immediately back away from this unjust decision.
The meeting also condemned the attacks on the Lebanese army in Tripoli and Sidon, pointing out that this targeting constitutes a very dangerous indication of the willingness of some to tamper with the security of the country and to undermine its stability as a result of their presence outside the authority.
In his statement, the meeting warned that any targeting of the military establishment is a conspiracy against the nation and its people for the benefit of persons or entities that are seen in Lebanon only as a means for personal benefits and interests to accumulate thefts and wealth at the expense of the vast majority of the Lebanese people.
