The company's general manager, Engineer Abdo Al-Mahmoud, stated in a statement to SANA correspondent that this Labor Day comes within exceptional circumstances that put us before great responsibilities, which was translated by the company's workers through their work around the clock without being tired or bored, committed to all precautionary measures to address the virus.
Three factories are currently operating in the company, according to Al-Mahmoud, which is the yeast lab that works with the maximum production capacity and the oil and soap plant and the alcohol factory in which work was launched since the middle of last March and works with the maximum production capacity to supply the public and private sectors with the increasing demand for the material indicating that each of these laboratories It includes about one hundred workers working in four shifts without stopping.
During his presence in his shift in the alcohol factory, the worker Essam Fendi wished that the upcoming Labor Day would come, and Syria had recovered and overlooked the crisis of this global epidemic, while the worker in God, Kanaan, indicated that they continued to work during the current exceptional circumstances out of their belief in the country and the need to protect it in various ways and work to build it .
From the oil factory, the worker Akram Assi confirmed that he and his companions continue to work in these conditions out of their duty towards their homeland, which was confirmed by the worker Ahmed Saeed Al-Ahmad, who indicated that the workers in all productive companies did not stop working, but increased the responsibilities incumbent upon them and they were at the level of responsibility .
As for the yeast, the worker, Imad Al-Nasser, pointed out that he and his companions continue to perform their duty, and are determined to continue their efforts in order to hold the country steadfast in all aspects and were the reserve of the Syrian Arab Army in the face of all the terrorism that Syria was exposed to.
Engineer Ahmed Othman, director of the alcohol and carbon factory at Homs Sugar Company indicated that the workers work around the clock to ensure that all the requests entrusted to them are secured with maximum production capacity, while engineer Ali Shaqouf, director of the oil factory, indicated that the work doubled under the current conditions and all the workers were responsible.
Eng. Necdet Fayyad, the director of the yeast lab, emphasized that the workers have a great role in supporting the stability and increase of production, as efforts were intensified to provide all services and work within the maximum capacity.
