After eleven weeks without a main prize, the euro jackpot is cracked. The 90 million euros go to Bavaria.
Helsinki (dpa) - The maximum jackpot filled with 90 million euros goes to Bavaria. With the winning numbers 6-11-12-21-41 and the two euro numbers 1 and 2, a player was right this time after eleven weeks without a main win, as Westlotto announced after the draw in Helsinki.
"This is the highest lottery win that has ever been made in Bavaria," said Westlotto. Two game participants from Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate were able to enjoy winnings of more than 6 million euros each.
The German lottery record was set again. Most recently, a player from the Münsterland region secured the win of over 90 million euros in February.
The chance of winning the Euro Jackpot is 1 in 95 million. The chances of the classic lottery on Wednesday and Saturday ("6 out of 49") are significantly lower. Here the prospect of the jackpot stands at only 1 in 140 million.
