The World Health Organization reiterated that the Corona virus is of natural origin following US President Donald Trump's allegations that he “saw evidence” that the virus was made in a Chinese laboratory.
The French press agency quoted the WHO emergency official Michael Ryan as saying during a virtual press conference in response to a question about what Trump claimed that the organization "listened repeatedly to many scientists who looked at the sequence of the virus genome .. We are sure that this virus is natural Origin ”repeating the position previously expressed by the organization.
The New York Times revealed yesterday that senior officials in the Trump administration pressed intelligence services to find evidence to support allegations that the Corona virus came from a Chinese laboratory in order to divert attention from criticism directed at this administration about its handling of the crisis due to the epidemic.
