The local health committee of central China's Hubei Province announced today that no new confirmed cases of the disease caused by the emerging Corona virus "Covid 19" were recorded last night.
Xinhua quoted the committee as saying that the province, which was hardest hit by the epidemic in China, had not recorded new confirmed cases of corona for 28 consecutive days since April 4.
To date, Hubei has recorded a total of 68,128 confirmed cases of 19 Coffed, including 50,333 in its capital, Wuhan.
In Shanghai, the health committee said that the city had not reported any new cases of HIV infection, while it recorded a zero increase in local cases yesterday.
The committee added that Shanghai had recorded 339 confirmed local cases as of last night, including seven deaths.
Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province also recorded a zero increase in new confirmed cases yesterday, according to the provincial health commission said on Monday, noting that a total of 558 local confirmed cases and 386 arrivals had been infected with Covid 19 until last night.
