SpVgg builds event house in the sports park

In the event that football is once again played in front of an audience, the SpVgg Unterhaching is preparing: The professional club with promotion opportunities to the 2nd league is building an event house.

Unterhaching - Even if ghost games are currently conceivable at best, the third-division soccer team SpVgg Unterhaching is gearing up for the time after the corona crisis: In the sports park, an event house with a space of 266 square meters is to be built for a limited period of two years. With the event house, which is to replace the previous "Sportpark-Alm", the football club wants to achieve a "capacity expansion" as a complement to the existing VIP house with promotion opportunities in the 2nd Bundesliga. An additional 170 seats are planned in the event house, so that the Haching fans can be “looked after with everything to do with games” in the building application. This was approved by the vacation committee, which met as a corona replacement for the Unterhachingen municipal council.

In terms of the parking situation, a change of use with the stadium is assumed, since the visitors are the same. Use of the toilet is ensured via the neighboring VIP house, and barrier-free access is to be built.

New antenna system for mobile radio

Irrespective of this, another building project is planned in the street at the sports park, opposite the Edeka market: There, an antenna structure for mobile communications will be built, limited to five years. The almost 11 meter high tubular steel mast serves to cover the network in Telefónica's (O2) public mobile communications, particularly in the area of ​​the sports park and the adjacent construction areas. The location has become necessary because the mobile phone system at Fasanenstrasse 66 is no longer available.
