The Israeli occupation authorities announced today a new settlement plan to seize tens of acres of Palestinian land in the southeast of Qalqilya in the West Bank.
The Azzun Atma Village Council, south of Qalqilya, told Wafa that the occupation plan aims to seize 140 dunums planted with olives and almonds behind the Apartheid Wall from the lands of Azzun Atma and the villages of Al-Zawiyah and Masha affiliated to the city of Salfit, with the aim of establishing a settlement cemetery.
In the context of its Judaizing and aggressive plans to displace the Palestinians, the occupation authorities are escalating settlement operations in the West Bank, ignoring international resolutions that confirm the illegality of settlement in the occupied Palestinian territories and demanding that it be stopped.
