Longing for hugs from grandchildren

2020-05-03T21:35:33.122Z

As a grandfather to seven grandchildren, I was very pleased to hear of the Health Ministry's decision to finally allow my grandparents to meet, after more than a month and a half with my grandchildren. During this time we talked on the phone, I saw their faces zooming and talking, but it did not diminish as much of the longing as I could not hug and kiss them.

My smallest granddaughter, Yael (8), sent an exciting greeting to my wife and "My grandparents - I wish it was all over and we could meet you. Yael loves." With my grandson, Yoav (14 and a half), I correspond in Wetsap daily. Just during the Corona days it was my 18th granddaughter, Tair, and because of the situation I had to congratulate her on Wetsap.

Of course, during this period, too, I could only see Zuma's grandchildren (21) serving as a lieutenant-in-law in the Air Force. With the cancellation of the ban, I could also hug my eldest grandchild Ari (23) whose virus shortened his visit to South America and returned home , But I haven't seen him since but only through the internet, to meet my granddaughter (18), and watch her dance and play the piano, as well as my dear 10-year-old grandchildren who recoil all year round, regardless of Corona, hugs and kisses.
