The most sold 100% electric car in the world, the Leaf had never displayed as much power and autonomy as this e + version with a large capacity battery (62 kWh). A large accumulator that allows Nissan to be able to couple it to a block of 217 hp, when the basic 40 kWh battery is limited to 150 hp. This helps to justify the difference of € 3,400 between the two variants with equal finish. This muscular Leaf, still as roomy (4.49 m), pleasant in the city - the e-Pedal system makes it possible to manage power and braking perfectly, until stop, with the accelerator - and comfortable on the road, proves, failing to give pleasure to the wheel, much more dynamic and versatile.

With a battery capacity increased by 55%, the progress of the Leaf e + autonomy is significant, even if we hoped better: the 376 km in the city (+ 26% compared to the 40 kWh) are largely sufficient but, despite '' 42% progress on the road (279 km) and 64% on the motorway (223 km), you still often have to recharge. If on a 50 kW fast terminal, it only takes an hour to go up from 0 to 80%, at home, with a household outlet, it will be necessary to wait more than 28 h to reach 100%… when about twenty is enough with the small 40 kWh battery. Nevertheless, thanks to the progress made in autonomy, this Leaf becomes a car to do almost everything. And Nissan decided to give it a boost: to keep the maximum bonus of € 6,000 granted to models under € 45,000, it lowered the price of the E + range by € 1,900.
