Chinese health authorities said on Monday (May 4th) that they had confirmed the previous day only one new case of coronavirus contamination in mainland China, and that they had not recorded any additional deaths linked to the epidemic that had appeared in the center of the country last December.

The National Health Commission said in its daily point that it was a case of imported infection.

In total, according to the commission's data, the coronavirus infected 82,881 people in mainland China and caused 4,633 deaths.
