At the Fatal Terminal in Ben Gurion Airport, a circumcision ceremony was held on Wednesday for the son of a Chabad envoy in Cyprus. The messenger arrived with the baby on a private plane and returned immediately to Cyprus, thus avoiding the need for isolation in Israel and Cyprus.

The exciting event took place after joint efforts by the Chief Rabbi of Cyprus, Rabbi Aryeh Ze'ev Raskin, with the Ministers of State and Embassy of Israel and Cyprus. Today, as stated, at the Fattal Terminal in Ben Gurion Airport, the circumcision was made for the son of Rabbi Yair and Geula Beech, the emissaries of the Lubavitcher Rebbe in Limassol, Cyprus, after which they immediately returned on a special flight.

The event that took place today joins the engagement celebrated at Ben Gurion Airport on Monday this week in the lobby. Ben Gurion Airport is almost completely empty of passengers, but two important two-day events are undoubtedly spreading some hope for the near future.

At the same time, Ben Gurion Airport will soon be filled with passenger traffic. Dozens of airlines have already stated that they plan to resume operations on flights to Tel Aviv and in the coming weeks we will see direct flights to England, Canada, Italy, Portugal and other countries.
