Sources of the Anses confirmed to Clarín that until now, when the people who chose to withdraw the money from the voucher at the branches of the Argentine Mail began to collect, only 3,650,000 people received the benefit , out of a total pattern of 8,223,076 .
Those 4,573,076 beneficiaries who have not yet collected - they are the ones who stated that they do not have bank accounts to receive the $ 10,000 - will be able to obtain the money in an intricate schedule that combines shifts granted according to the last ID number, the letter with which the last name begins. and different locations and payment methods.
That calendar runs until June 3 and even, with the extensions of registrations, it stretches until July 1 . That last date arises from the warning on the Anses website itself in the section that details the collection schedule for the beneficiaries who chose to receive the bonus at the branches of the Post Office. There it says that "for operational reasons linked to the chosen medium, if you choose this option between April 27 and May 1, payment will be available between June 4 and July 1 ".
The Family Emergency Income was announced on March 23, three days after the coronavirus quarantine began, in a joint conference between the Minister of Economy, Martín Guzmán, and his work partner, Claudio Moroni. In the newsletter that appears on the official information portal www.argentina.gob.ar you can still read today that " the IFE will reach 3,600,000 thousand homes ", despite the fact that they will end up charging 8,223,076, more than the half of the households that exist in Argentina.
As the payment schedule so far is diagrammed, between the date of the official announcement of the measure and the day that the last beneficiaries will finish collecting that first payment of the bond there is 101 days of difference .
In the Anses, which since this week Fernanda Raverta has led , replacing Alejandro Vanoli , they assure that they are working against the clock to make more efficient the payment of the second bonus of 10,000 pesos, which could begin to be distributed at the end of this month. To achieve this goal, the Raverta management will have to overcome some inherited problems, such as, for example, getting some 500,000 beneficiaries out of a total of 8,223,076 to inform Anses how they want to collect the benefit.
In addition to the delays that the government attributes to the management of Vanoli, the payment of the 10,000 peso bond is a kind of summary of the structural problems that the state administration has dragged on for decades . In principle, it revealed the holes in the Anses database, which was believed to be one of the most oiled in the country.
