Corona virus in Germany: demonstration in Berlin

According to a police spokeswoman, 350 to 400 people had gathered in front of the Reichstag building. They apparently followed a call on social media . Because of the corona pandemic *, demos with up to 50 participants are currently allowed in Berlin.

Police officers had sought the conversation and pointed out the distance rules, said a police spokeswoman. "Forces called several times personally and over loudspeakers to the people to leave the place and finally dissolved the accumulation," tweeted the police.

A team from the ZDF satellite broadcast “heute-show” had already been attacked in Berlin on May 1st. It was in a demonstration against the Corona rules * on Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. After that, the camera team was attacked by a group of hooded offenders. According to the ZDF, six people were injured and had to be taken to the hospital.
