Some 10% of students lost their jobs due to the coronavirus epidemic which caused the shutdown of a large part of economic activity in France, announces the Minister of Higher Education Frédérique Vidal in an interview with the Parisian published Friday.

This aid, said Frédérique Vidal, "concerns those, scholarship recipients or non-scholarship recipients, who were on compulsory paid internship or employed on March 1, and who worked at least 32 hours per month, as well as isolated overseas students in mainland France".
