At the first council meeting in Bockhorn, Thomas Fisch was elected vice-mayor. Committees and units were also named.
Bockhorn - Rarely have there been so many interested visitors to the Bockhorn municipal council as on Thursday in the constituent meeting of the new committee. Around two dozen citizens came to the rectory, which was temporarily converted into a boardroom. Some even had to switch to the theater stage. The program included swears, the election of the second mayor and the appointment of committee members and speakers.
Although not yet sworn in, one of the five new municipal councilors was given a special task right from the start: Peter Feller (65, Grünbacher Liste) was the oldest member of the committee and was allowed to swear in the new mayor Lorenz Angermaier. He then took the oath of office himself, as well as Andreas Scharl (Free Voting Community), Christof Kronseder (Kirchasch Citizens List with surrounding area), Sabine Huber (CSU) and Ludwig Molocher (AfD).
Battle vote between Sabine Huber and Thomas Fisch
Then there was the exciting choice of a representative for Angermaier. Dr. applied for Thomas Fisch (Free Voter Community) and Sabine Huber (CSU), who had already run for mayor in the local elections in March. In the fight vote, Fisch prevailed with 11: 6 votes.
The establishment and staffing of the committees and units took a little longer. The appointment of the new mayor Lorenz Angermaier as a wedding official was a matter of form. However, the community leader wants to take a quick course at the district office for this function before he can trust the first couple from June 1.
Hans Schreiner becomes the former mayor
The assembly also unanimously appointed the previous mayor Hans Schreiner as the mayor of the municipality. His successor Angermaier emphasized: "After 18 years, he really earned this honorary title."
The council could only touch on one topic that will be discussed in detail at the next meeting: the rules of procedure. Here, among other things, an agreement should be reached on the amount of money over which the mayor can determine himself without convening the municipal council. It also deals with various forms of presentation of official documents and municipal council documents. Up to this meeting date on Thursday, May 28th, the municipal councils can still form their opinion on the basis of an extensive paper.
