Damascus Governorate has taken several measures in preparation for the resumption of the work of mass transportation for the public and private sectors tomorrow morning, including sterilization of internal transport buses and obliging drivers to wear masks and gloves and determining the work of these methods starting from six in the morning until seven in the evening, in implementation of the decision of the government team on procedures to address the Corona virus.
The Director of Traffic and Transportation Engineering in the governorate, Engineer Yasser Bastouni, told a delegate in Sanaa that with the resumption of the work of these means, a committee formed from the governorate will carry out sterilization work continuously for several times daily for all the offices in the starting centers / Alsumaria and the Abbasids / and the exchange centers under the bridge of Mr. President and the weights in Damer The country, the River Aisha and Mrs. Zainab in the industrial area.
The Spades indicated that the supervisors of these centers were stressed by informing all drivers of the need to adhere to wearing masks and gloves and the required hygiene procedures and to adhere to the requirements of continuous spacing and sterilization in implementation of government instructions, indicating that legal measures will be taken against violators.
In turn, the director of the Internal Transport Company in Damascus, Engineer Samer Al-Haddad, confirmed in a similar statement that sterilization of the internal transport buses that will operate tomorrow morning within the civil and rural areas, as they were previously, amounting to about 110 buses, pointing out that all bus drivers have been stressed by wearing masks and gloves and not allowing Passengers climb more than seats.
