The health authorities in Sudan announced the registration of 181 new cases of the emerging coronavirus, the highest daily rate recorded by the country so far, bringing the total number of cases to 1111 cases.
The Sudanese News Agency "SUNA" quoted the Ministry of Health as saying that the total deaths increased to 59 cases, while two cases of recovery were registered, bringing the total number of people recovering to 102 cases.
The infection figures recorded today represent the largest daily toll since the outbreak of the virus began in the country.
The Supreme Committee for Health Emergencies in Sudan decided to extend the curfew in the state of Khartoum for an additional ten days from Saturday as part of the precautionary measures to combat Corona in addition to preventing travel between the capital and the states.
