In the clinics in the district, normality returned at the weekend: the ban on visits was relaxed - but only under certain conditions.
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen - As of today, a little bit of normality returns, also at the district clinic. The ban on visits that used to apply until recently is being relaxed. From now on, patients on Moosbauerweg can again receive friends and relatives - albeit under strict conditions.
Visiting ban is relaxed
As Managing Director Ingo Kühn reports, visits are allowed between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The rule applies: "One visitor per patient for a maximum of one hour per day." According to Kühn, visitors only have to register at the main entrance and bring their own mouth and nose protection, which must be worn during the entire stay. This applies to visitors as well as those visited.
In addition, it should be noted that only patients who have no symptoms may be visited. Visitors with symptoms such as cough, runny nose, fever, shortness of breath, diarrhea and similar symptoms will expressly give up staying away from the clinic. “This serves to protect all of us, especially patients, other visitors and our employees. Everyone should pay attention to their surroundings, ”said Kühn. Visits to the intensive care unit and the Covid 19 wards are still not possible.
Only patients without symptoms may be visited
The new situation at the Asklepios City Clinic in Bad Tölz is handled similarly. Here, too, each patient may only receive one visitor per day for an hour. As spokesman Christopher Horn explains, visitors are asked to register in advance on 0 80 41/5 07 01. The clinic is only accessible through the main entrance. The visitors register there. The clinic asks for understanding that there may be waiting times.
Visitors must wear masks
In Bad Tölz, too, visitors must bring their own mouth and nose protection and wear it throughout their stay - just like the patients. Horn points out that FFP masks with an exhalation valve are not permitted "because they do not provide adequate protection for other people". When entering and leaving the hospital and the patient room, visitors are asked to disinfect their hands. Visiting times are on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., on weekends and on public holidays until 4 p.m.
