It was the second accident on the Kesselberg in two days: Another motorcyclist fell on the mountain route.
Kochel am See - On Friday around 6:15 p.m., a 26-year-old from Munich, with his Kawasaki, was traveling uphill on federal road 11 at Kesselberg towards Walchensee.
In the course of a tight right-hand bend, he lost control of his machine "when accelerating strongly" - according to the police - and fell on the right side of the lane, falling into the parking lot next to it and luckily not on the opposite lane. At that time there was a lot of traffic in both directions.
Motorcyclist is easily injured
According to the police, the man was slightly injured and the BRK took the ambulance to the Penzberg hospital. Property damage amount to 4000 euros.
Two days earlier, on Wednesday, a motorcyclist had crashed on the mountain route.
In Lenggries, motorists overlook bikers
Another accident with a motorcyclist occurred in Lenggries on Friday. In this case, it wasn't the biker's fault. At 1.45 p.m. a 69-year-old Lenggrieser with his Ford turned left from Anton-Dräxl-Straße into Karwendelstraße. However, he misjudged the speed of a motorcycle rider coming from the left. This - it was a 66-year-old Lenggrieser - put his brakes on his Honda. He fell.
The motorcyclist suffered bruises and was taken to the hospital in Tölz by the ambulance service. The two vehicles suffered a total damage of around 1,300 euros.
