Member of the Egyptian Parliament, Nosileh Swailem, condemned the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria, stressing that they are "inhuman".

In a statement to the SANA correspondent in Cairo, Swelem called for the lifting of the American siege and Western measures that target the Syrian state and come within the framework of the policies of hostility and conspiracy against it, explaining that the American administrations continue to conform to their agendas against everyone and do not recognize humanity but are based on supporting terrorism and waging wars.

Suwailem stressed the necessity of the continuation of the war on terrorism, noting the Syrian Arab army's victories and great sacrifices in the face of the war waged against Syria over the past years.
