In a first interview on the American NBC television network, Lawrence Garbose, a New Rochelle suburb lawyer, was first exposed • "The Corona I had no head at all"

Lawrence Garbose, a religious Jewish lawyer from New York's suburb, was one of Corona's first patients in the city, and, rightly or not, was seen as one of those spreading the epidemic in the densest U.S. metropolis.

Grubus was seriously ill, and sometimes he was in danger. Fortunately, the doctors managed to save his life, and today he is back at his house, in a recovery trend. Last night, for the first time, Lawrence and his wife, Adina, were exposed in a television interview with NBC and told of the dramatic months they had gone through.

50-year-old Garbuz felt unwell in February, but says that at that time the corona "I had no head at all." "I'm a lawyer, sitting at a desk all day," Lawrence said, whose office is in Manhattan. "I think at the time we were concentrating on people who were abroad, something I didn't do."

One way or another, Garbose became infected, and was probably one of the causes of the outbreak in the New Rochelle community, the suburb where he lives. Soon, of course, the epidemic was already spreading in New York City itself. "I really don't concentrate on the media around the first patients, and the one I focused more on recovering," he repeated. When the lawyer's condition worsened, he arrived at the hospital. "From the time we got to the ER, I have no memory of what happened - until I woke up from coma," he added.

Adina, his wife, shared a panic last night. "A healthy person is full of animals, and in the night we get so sick," she said. "I know we are not very surprised by this case now, but then we were just in shock." In the end, Adina decided to transfer her husband to a city hospital, and because she was afraid of the road - though she made sure he would be intubated before traveling by ambulance. "My wife saved my life," he said.

Now he's home, recovering. One of these family members said how happy she was that her father was recovering. "It's just a miracle for us," she concluded.
