(CNN Spanish) - How to make children understand the need to wash their hands and avoid getting close to other people? How to explain what the coronavirus is? and how to entertain them at home without despair? These are questions that some parents still do not know how to answer and explain to their children.

Several brands are concerned with making children and young people understand what covid-19 is and what to do during quarantine. Here we present four cases with characters so diverse ranging from Batman and the Chelsea soccer team, to characters from Sesame Street and Cartoon Network.

cartoon Network

Cartoon Network Latin America -channel that is part of WarnerMedia, like CNN en Español- adds an initiative in response to the pandemic with the launch of CN Acá Somos, a digital destination that invites girls and boys to stay safe, enhance their creativity and have fun during this particular global situation. The available resources bring together humor, creativity and closeness with the fans that characterize the children's brand, through the characters that the boys know and love. Here you will find tips to stay healthy and resources that will serve as a guide for various activities for the whole family.

LEGO

This LEGO video featuring the Dark Knight Batman is part of a series of community service messages featuring LEGO characters like Emmet and Lucy from the movie "The LEGO Movie" and Owen from "Jurassic World ”. The videos were produced in Los Angeles by Pure Imagination Studios, in coordination with The LEGO Group. All the people who got involved in this project, from the actors to the cinematographers, did it voluntarily and donated their time and talent to create messages that allow children to understand what we are experiencing.

Sesame

Through its website for Covid-19, the Ministry of Health of Mexico invited the population and minors to visit it to support parents to easily explain what it is and how to fight the coronavirus. In alliance with the characters of "Sesame", these are the ones who explain in a simple way, the characteristics of the virus and how to greet people. There are several videos in which the characters talk to children about how to maintain social distance. One of them is Oscar, who does not want to be close to anyone ... for the good of everyone, for his and for the friends of Sesame.

Hyundai Motors

But among the companies that are helping children to have things to do, is the union of Hyundai Motor UK and Chelsea FC, who created the series called "Home Advantage". Here, football fans will be helped to develop their skills at home during the quarantine period. Each week a new episode will be posted online in which soccer team players will introduce their favorite exercise or skill, and Chelsea Foundation coaches will provide tips, challenges, and examples for kids to practice at home.
