The death toll from the newly created Corona virus rose in France today after 348 cases during the past 24 hours, coinciding with the continuing decline in the number of HIV infections.
France Presse quoted the French Ministry of Health as saying in a statement today that the number of deaths rose by 1.3 percent to 26,991, while the number of patients infected with HIV in hospitals decreased again to 21,595 from 22,284 yesterday, to continue the downward trend for four consecutive weeks.
And by registering this number of deaths, France becomes the fourth in the list of countries with the highest number of deaths after America, Britain and Italy, surpassing Spain, where the number of deaths reached 26,920 deaths.
On the second day after France lifted the 55-day general isolation, the downward trend in the number of patients in intensive care units also continued, dropping by 170 or 6.3 percent to 2542.
