Today, the Minister of Finance, Dr. Mamoun Hamdan, issued a circular in which he requested the accountants of the departments and financial managers of the public authorities to work on the payment of salaries and wages for workers in the state who are in charge of their work and others for this month only, starting on the seventeenth Sunday of this month.
This circular, which Sana received a copy of, comes "in view of the Eid Al Fitr holiday, coinciding with the date of payment of salaries and wages specified in the decision of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers on the 23rd of each month, which also stipulates that official holidays must be observed in the implementation of payment and exchange operations."
