The five newly appointed unofficial members are Zhai Rongbang, Xu Ern, Li Ziliang, Mai Yingen and Ye Guangtao. At the same time, the five outgoing members are Zheng Binghong, Luo Shengmuxian, Wu Caiyu, Peng Yibang and Shi Xiumei.
The Advisory Committee on the Preservation of Historic Buildings was established in 2016 to advise the government on the operation of the Preservation of Historic Buildings Fund. The committee is responsible for reviewing applications for the Historic Building Partnership Program, monitoring the operation of existing projects, and monitoring the operation of the Historic Building Maintenance Funding Scheme.
