The services, health and consumer protection sectors in Sweida and Daraa governorates have taken the necessary measures and measures to continue providing all services to citizens during the Eid Al Fitr holiday.

The Director of Sweida Health, Dr. Nizar Muhanna, stated in a statement to a SANA reporter that the Directorate completed its preparations to continue providing its health and medical services, including receiving emergency first aid cases during the Eid holiday, in addition to taking all measures to fully cover the holiday period by preparing the necessary rotations schedule for health staff and accrediting health centers In Arika, Al-Qarya, Al-Ghariyah, Salt, Al-Kaboura, and the Temporary Residence Center in Al-Tala'i Camp and the Martyr Zaid Al-Qari Hospital in the city of As-Suwayda to be ready for work.

Muhanna pointed out that the Health Directorate has provided all the necessary capabilities in anticipation of any emergency of diseases or even certain injuries that may occur and is ready in its health centers, hospitals and ambulatory system to provide all the free services that the citizen needs around the clock while continuing the precautionary measures to address the Corona virus.

In turn, the director of the branch of the Syrian Foundation for Bakeries in Sweida Alaa Muhanna explained that the automatic bakeries operating in the administration and supervision system continue with their regular work and are disrupted only on the first day of the feast indicating that the quantities produced will be increased during the next two days to serve the needs of citizens.

On his part, Assef Haidar, Deputy Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection pointed out that rotating patrols were allocated throughout the holidays to monitor various commercial activities, markets, gas stations, ovens and markets, in addition to continuing to receive citizen complaints, stating that private ovens in rural and governorate areas continue their work with disruption only within Its scheduled weekend.

For his part, Eng. Loay Radwan, Director of the Unified Starting Center in Suwayda, pointed out that the starting centers were required to compel drivers working on all lines to rotate to ensure continued work on Eid days, in addition to continuing transportation to outside the governorate, expressing the center's readiness to receive any complaint related to the transportation issue and its follow-up with the Directorate of Internal Trade Consumer protection and traffic branch.

In Daraa, the Director of Health, Dr. Ashraf Barmo, told a SANA reporter that the directorate organized shifts in public hospitals throughout the 24 hours, in order to achieve coverage of all departments, deal with various medical conditions and accidents, and provide ambulance requirements, including equipment and medicines.

Bermo explained that the Directorate has nominated an epidemiological investigation team to work during the Eid holiday in an organized manner to monitor restaurants, prevent the sale of non-processed drinks automatically by mobile vendors and monitor drinking water to ensure the presence of chlorine and take samples for bacteriological examination when suspected of contamination.

The government team concerned with the strategy to tackle the new Corona virus decided to continue the prohibition of night roaming during the Eid Al-Fitr period from 7:30 p.m. until 6 of the following day, and also to prevent any appearances and gatherings related to Eid, especially children's games with all its components, and games halls at the level of all administrative units in the governorates.
