Two men were fatally wounded with a stabbing weapon overnight Monday to Tuesday in a migrant reception center in Ris-Orangis (Essonne) and a suspect was arrested, we have learned from concordant sources.

Around one in the morning, police intervened in a Coallia center, where a 42-year-old Senegalese and a 29-year-old Ivorian were found stabbed, a police source said. One was in his room, the other outside the shelter. The victims quickly succumbed to their injuries despite the intervention of the emergency services.
Based on testimony, a suspect, who had fled, could be located shortly before 3 am, hidden on a site belonging to Macif, near the scene, according to the same source. Injured in one hand, the 36-year-old Malian was arrested without incident. He was also accommodated in the home, said the management of the structure.
The origin of the dispute remains unknown at this time. The departmental security of Essonne was seized.
