Among them, the Tsing Yi North Bridge connecting Tsuen Wan and Tsing Yi, from the Tsuen Tsing Interchange to the branch road in the direction of Tsing Yi. It is also suspected that the heavy trees caused the collapse of large trees due to heavy rain, hindering all traffic lanes, vehicles failed to pass, and traffic was blocked. Vehicles at the interchange will need to bypass the Tsing Yi North Bridge on Tsing Tsuen Road or switch to the Tsing Yi South Bridge; however, many buses will stay at the interchange.
The big tree involved is about 10 meters high and 1 meter in diameter. Firemen received the report, sawed the tree into multiple pieces with a chainsaw, and then moved to the side of the road. The branch road reopened at about 1:30 in the morning, and traffic returned to normal in the direction of Tsing Yi.
