The firefighting crews were put out in the Civil Defense Directorate in Homs in cooperation with crews from the cultivation of Homs, a fire that broke out today in the Rastan area of Homs countryside.
Brigadier General Ghayath Aqel, director of civil defense in Homs, pointed out that the fire affected forest trees from Cypress, Pine, Kina, Willow and herbs in the Rastan area near the Rastan Dam.
Sane explained that the affected area is estimated at thirty dunums, and that the cause of the fire is high temperatures.
