The NYC announced a pilot this week to use lamps to illuminate ultraviolet radiation and eliminate the Corona virus on buses, trains and various stations. According to the plan, the lamps are expected to operate during the night on trains and when they are not traveling. This was reported on the US CNN network.

The authority announced Tuesday (Tuesday) that it will use 150 smartphones to assess the effectiveness and cost of the new technology. This is a startup of a company located in the city of Denver in the United States, called "PURO Lighting."

Ultraviolet light is one of the three known types of UV rays, and has been shown to destroy the corona virus, and is deadly for bacteria and other viruses. On behalf of PURO, it was reported that it has lamps capable of providing VUB type radiation (type B radiation).

The first phase will be implemented on trains and buses and stations as early as next week. If the pilot is successful, it will be expanded to Long Island Railways and subway trains in the second phase. Two lines that serve New York suburbs.
