Even now, when academic studies are at a distance, "Nakba Day" manages to stir up the turmoil in the Mount Scopus enclave. This time, Hadash's student body posted a false video against students in uniform marked, photographed and unknowingly disseminated. The soldiers' photos also contain threatening captions that "must fight against the occupation army at checkpoints, homes and universities." "The Army of Occupation" at the university.

The trigger for the video is the launch of an IDF lilies program, for the first time at the Hebrew University, where soldiers are enrolled as full-time students. Hadash representatives are unable to bear the presence of IDF uniforms on campus.

The fear of incitement is hard to ignore when the student-soldiers accused of stealing student dormitories from Arab students are shown in the video, and they are also said to be representatives of the occupation on campus. The math is not complicated; We all understand how it is customary to act against the occupation army.

My colleagues and my colleagues at the Hebrew University, a liberal-national cell in the spirit of Likud values, approached the university management to issue a condemnation notice and to take disciplinary proceedings against the video distributors. The university said in response that the video did indeed lie, but refused to initiate disciplinary proceedings, claiming that the matter was hidden under freedom of expression. There is no dispute about the importance of free speech in democracy, but it also has limits. In this case, in our opinion, a red line has been crossed, and so we continue to demand that the Hadash cell leaders be brought before a disciplinary committee.

"The Hadash students in Hebrew criticized the creeping militarization of the public domain. The fact that soldiers with weapons sit in classrooms," Aida Toma-Sliman from Hadash, further explaining that "The students tied it to the fact that the army was a major tool in the Palestinian people's suppression policy - in the Nakba focus." One

must ask, where is the Hebrew University - in Jerusalem, or the United Nations? Students in uniform cannot attend the first Hebrew University, at an official academic institution of the State of Israel? The security forces and the defense army are making countless days to safeguard the safety of all citizens, and to provide academic freedom to all students - including Hadassah supporters. Student uniforms, marked as a form of public space pollution, not to mention incitement, undermine any basic value which founded the state of Israel.

our university should be back to university proud Zionist. This is not a body of international research lacks identity and uniqueness, but one of the flagships of the Zionist enterprise, a symbol of cultural renewal of Israel in Jerusalem. Is there any institution of national universities than from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem? Who That seeps up at the sight of a soldier in uniform In the cafeteria, library or lecture hall, you are invited to go to study in Berlin, Ramallah, or anywhere else.In the State of Israel, soldiers will continue to head, including for the campus paths. this should mark it.
