The new Corona virus has resulted in the death of 329,739 people since its appearance last December, while the number of registered patients has reached 5090157 as of this morning, while 2024329 people have recovered from the disease, according to the World Meters website.
In Mexico, 424 deaths and 2248 new cases were recorded, bringing the number of deaths to 6090 and injuries to 56,594, while data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases in Germany revealed that the number of confirmed cases of HIV infection in the country rose by 745 cases to 176752, and deaths increased 57 cases to 8147.
The Indian Ministry of Health has announced 132 deaths and 5,609 new injuries, bringing the number of deaths to 3435 and injuries to 112,359.
Turkey recorded 972 injuries and 23 new deaths, bringing the number of injured to 152587 and deaths to 4222, while Thailand announced three new cases, bringing the total number of injuries to 3037 without recording any other deaths, so the total number remains at 56 cases.
South Korea recorded 12 new injuries, bringing the total to 11,122, in addition to one death case, bringing the number of deaths to 264.
In turn, the Chinese National Health Committee announced in its daily report that it had received reports of two confirmed new cases on the Chinese mainland, including one from abroad in the southern province of Guangdong, while no deaths related to the disease were reported.
As of yesterday, the total confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland totaled 82,967 cases, including 84 patients still receiving treatment, 78,249 people discharged from hospitals after recovery, and 4,634 died from the disease.
