May 22: Since the beginning of the crisis, there have been 895 known corona cases in the Fürstenfeldbruck district. 836 people are considered recovered - so there are currently 59 people known to be infected with the virus. 34 deaths have been linked to the virus. This number has not changed since May 16. In the district clinic, one person is currently being cared for as an inpatient; 50 of the 59 asylum seekers affected are healthy again. 26 contact persons for the affected Category 1 refugees are still in quarantine. A total of 647 people were tested in the Corona test centers in the district up to and including May 20. Of the 604 results available until May 20, 43 were positive.
The sightings and initial assessments of patients previously carried out in the medical container and tent in front of the district clinic have been taking place at the entrance to the central emergency room since May 15, just like before the measures were tightened. The clinic's crisis team decided on this measure due to the declining number of patients, reports the district office. Medical containers and tents remain set up. If the number of infected people increases significantly, both can be put back into operation quickly.

May 19: New rules have been in effect in the Free State since Monday - among other things, beer gardens are allowed to reopen. In the FFB district, 34 people have died as a result of Covid-19 since the outbreak of the Corona crisis. Most recently, an 89-year-old died of the effects of the virus on Saturday in the district clinic. Three corona patients are now being treated in the hospital. None of them are ventilated. A total of 883 citizens of the district were infected with Covid-19. About 751 of them have overcome the virus, 98 are currently ill. Asylum seekers have also contracted the virus. A total of 54 tested positive for Corona. About 30 of them are healthy again. In addition to the infected asylum seekers, 193 close contacts had to be quarantined. They came from the accommodations in Puchheim, Fürstenfeldbruck, Groebenzell, Maisach and Olching. Currently 82 of them are still in quarantine in specially designed homes. As the establishment of an additional quarantine station for refugees in Puchheim is dragging on, the district office has taken over the house of the district youth ring in Gelbenholzen as a precautionary measure for this use.
