Ukrainian Deputy Interior Minister Anton Girachenko said today that a member of Parliament has been found shot dead in his office.
"The body of Rada Valery Davydenko, a member of Parliament, was found with a fatal bullet to the head," Gerashenko said on Facebook, adding that the police were investigating all possible causes behind his death.
In the context, the advisor to the Ukrainian Interior Minister, Zorian Shukryak, said that investigators consider that the "suicide" hypothesis is strongly proposed.
Davydenko was Deputy Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine from May 2013 to March 2014 and ran as an independent in the parliamentary elections held last year.
