The State Company for Metal Industries "Barada" has launched a group of new products from refrigerators, washing machines, ovens and fans at competitive prices and by less than 25 percent of those in the local market.
The general manager of the company, Engineer Mohiuddin Ayoun, stated in a statement to SANA that the prices announced by the company to the consumer are a refrigerator 16 feet two doors "Jumbo" with 360 thousand pounds and a refrigerator 24 feet two doors "Jumbo" with 420 thousand pounds and an automatic washing machine 6 kg digital with 350 thousand pounds And a 7 kg digital washing machine with 375 thousand pounds and the oven 5 deluxe heads with 260 thousand pounds and a vertical digital fan with 29500 pounds, stressing that these prices are less than the prices of similar products in the local market by between 25 and 30 percent, after the committees of the company explored the local market And compare the prices of similar products in the local market.
Eng.Oyoun stated that the company continues to intervene positively in the home appliances market after the Eid holiday, and the prices of its products will not be raised at all, noting that it recently raised its products with the slogan "Your Home is Our Home".
This intervention, according to the company's general manager, comes as part of the leading role of the company and the institutions and companies of the Ministry of Industry in the positive intervention in the local market through its institutions and subsidiaries, which is a national industry with a distinction of excellence since 1963.
Eng.Oyoun emphasized that the company's workers, administrators and technicians continued to work despite the conditions of the prohibition in the Corona pandemic and the risks associated with their health, as the company's management applied all means of protection and occupational and health safety at the highest levels of sterilization and precautionary measures and continued the production process defying all difficulties.
The Ministry of Industry confirmed that, despite the difficulties in finding raw materials, their production of all materials remained within the reach of the citizen’s need and at the same prices without making any modification with a view to positive intervention in the market.
