The United States has recorded 1,260 additional deaths linked to the new coronavirus in the past 24 hours, a daily balance stable compared to the previous day, according to the count at 8:30 p.m. Friday (2:30 a.m. Saturday in Paris) from the university Johns Hopkins.

This brings to over 95,921 the total number of deaths deplored in the country, by far the most mourning in the world in absolute terms, where some 1.6 million cases have been recorded since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
