A few hours before the PM's trial opens, the Netanyahu-Gantz government will convene tomorrow morning for a government meeting after revealing how challenging her term is likely to be • Mendelblit's issue, through Gantz's statements and former adviser to economic policy. Further down the road?

Less than a week has passed since the Netanyahu-Gantz government was sworn in, but the amount of disagreements and frictions corresponds to a term of at least a year. Just hours before Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's trial opens tomorrow (Sunday), another issue that is expected to cause quite a bit of friction, the government will convene a full first session after the festive sitting in the Knesset last week.

The solemnity of restoring a government in Israel after more than 500 days was disrupted on Tuesday evening, after the replacement prime minister and defense minister Benny Gantz stated in the "fact" plan, application 12, that he would not hand a legislative cease-fire legislation if and when such a proposal was submitted by the Likud.

With or without contact, the next day in blue and white the Norwegian bill had to be removed from the agenda, which is expected to enter another five Knesset members of the Blue and Mish future, due to a dispute between the Likud and the Blue.

Those who still managed to provoke a storm are Benny Gantz's former adviser, Ronen Tzur, who said in an interview with the IDF that he believes Gantz will be prime minister even before the date of the unity agreement, November 2021. Likud did not like the issue and the party said: The liver today confused Ronen Tzur. Recommend him to drink cold water. "

Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit, who was labeled a "landmine" before the government's inauguration, also managed to raise controversy as early as the first week of the 35th Israeli government.

Already on Tuesday, Justice Minister Avi Nissenkorn (blue-and-white) announced that Mendelblit, who is suffering from strong Likud attacks, will continue his post as state attorney general in the meantime. He is an "alleged offender."

I reiterate: I have complete confidence in the Attorney General. Government ministers may criticize the matter, but unrestrained attacks are the crossing of a red line.

"I reiterate: I have full confidence in the Attorney General. Government ministers are allowed to express substantive criticism, but unrestrained attacks are crossing the red line," Nisnkorn tweeted.

The friction between the Likud and the blue is expressed even on the issue of butter. MK Sharan (Likud) has directly attacked Agriculture Minister Alon Schuster (blue and white) on the dairy market policy and in a Facebook post where she addressed the public: "He wants you to pay dearly for butter, or you just can't buy butter."

Even Netanyahu and Gantz did not ignore the friction and met yesterday to calm the mood and try to straighten things out. A white paintbrush and Likud said in a joint statement: "A working meeting between Prime Minister Netanyahu and Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Benny Gantz was concluded. The meeting was held in a good atmosphere and dealt with various issues on the agenda for Israeli citizens and preparations for next week's cabinet meeting." Now there is only time to wait to see whether the new government is being roped in or just a promo for the continuation of the presidency, which many doubt will date.
