The head of the Iranian Islamic Shura Council, Ali Larijani, stressed the importance of strengthening the role of parliaments in the countries of the Islamic world in facing the challenges facing these countries.
The Fars News Agency quoted Larijani as saying today that under the current circumstances, the countries of the Islamic world are going through a difficult test that requires enhancing sympathy and cooperation among the Muslim Ummah, pointing to the great activity that these parliaments play in facing challenges, including the Corona crisis.
Larijani expressed his hope for the prosperity and brilliance of Islamic civilization, the adoption of trust and sympathy among Muslims, and the elaboration of an image of authentic Islam based on peace, love, cooperation and friendship more than before.
