How many times a week will the discussions be held? • Who will be the judges? • What is the amount of gifts in the 1000 case and who are the additional accused? • Tomorrow at 15:00, for the first time in the history of the State of Israel, the trial of an incumbent prime minister will open • “Israel today” makes order

For the first time in the history of the state, an indictment will be filed tomorrow (Sunday) at 15:00 in Israel against an incumbent prime minister, when the trial of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will officially open. Together with him will stand on the bench of defendants tycoon Saul Elovitz and his wife Iris and Arnus Moses, the controlling shareholder of Yedioth Ahronoth.

Netanyahu after the court decision: "coup attempt against Israeli rule"

This is a technical discussion of his character, which is expected to take about half an hour in total, during which the indictment will be called and the defendants will have to answer to the court if they understand the indictment and charges against them but will not have to answer, deny or admit.

The trial will be presided over by three judges - Rivka Friedman Feldman, who will preside over the composition, Moshe Bar Am and Oded Shaham. In the courtroom, Netanyahu is expected to meet with an unsympathetic figure, the lead prosecutor in the case, Attorney Liat Ben Ari, who also serves as Deputy State Attorney for Economic Enforcement, and who was the head of the hawks in its dealings with Netanyahu's cases throughout and recommended the Attorney General to file charges of indictment The three bags.

Regarding the length of the trial, the State Attorney's Office wants to have three hearings a week, but Netanyahu, on the other hand, wants one hearing a week. Those who decide the frequency of hearings will be the three judges.

Recall, the court rejected the PM's request not to attend the hearing, along with the rejection of his and Moses's request to be represented in the courtroom with two defense attorneys. However, it is estimated that Netanyahu will not have to stay throughout the trial, except for hearings in which he will have to testify or be cross-examined.

However, the law does not require the trial to be in the presence of the defendant, represented by counsel and in the past, but leaves the court's discretion to order the defendant to attend any part of the legal process.

Last Wednesday, senior police officials recommended that the court administration tighten its circle of judges in the cases of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, including Justice Rebecca Friedman-Feldman. Similarly, the plaintiff is also expected to receive plaintiff in Attorney Ben Ari's case.

Last March, the court rejected the prime minister's request to postpone his trial after he did not receive the full investigation material. Recall that the indictment against Netanyahu includes three charges according to the cases:

In the affair, also known as the "gift bag," the USSR suspects that for about twenty years, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has received favors in the form of gifts (cigars, champagne and jewelry) from businessmen James Packer and Arnon Milchin for a total of 700,000 NIS in cumulative shekels and at the end of the day Netanyahu helped him get a US visa.

Also, as detailed in the indictment, instructed then-Director of the Ministry of Communications who became a state against him, Shlomo Pilber, to assist Milchan in regulatory matters relating to the merger between the telecommunications and network companies by benefiting him. The indictment also claims that Netanyahu acted to promote To limit the fees the advertising agencies are launching from the media and promoting a business venture with Indian businessman Ratu Tata, which did not come out in the end, all for the betterment of Milchin's interests.

The suspicion attributes to Netanyahu in this case fraud and breach of trust. As for Arnon Milchin, Mendelbit decided to close the case. The consultant also decided to close the case in the case against the wife of Prime Minister Sara Netanyahu.

The court suspects that as part of the "Netanyahu Moses" affair, Netanyahu and the controlling shareholder of Yedioth Ahronoth, Arnon Moses, coordinated moves to limit the circulation of the Israeli newspaper today in exchange for sympathetic coverage of Yedioth Ahronoth and the Ynet website.

The suspicion attributes to Netanyahu in this case fraud and breach of trust. As for Noni Moses, Mandelblit decided to be indicted on a bribe.

This is a precedent that deals with the connections between politicians and senior media, connections that exist all the time, so the consultant has long considered whether to submit. Another feature of the case is the "golden vision" in the form of a tape in Netanyahu's voice and not his messengers. In the end, it was decided that the use of apparent governmental authority in order to gain sympathetic publicity of a major newspaper and site would rise to fraud and breach of trust. Regarding Moses, the things he said on the tape were much clearer and come up with a bribe.

"Bezeq-Walla!" It is suspected that the prime minister favored Bezeq and controlling shareholder Shaul Eloovic in exchange for sympathetic coverage on the Walla site by approving, as Minister of Communications, the completion of the Bezeq-Yes deal and so Bezeq paid Eurocom controlled by Alovitch NIS 1 billion. The suspicion attributes to Netanyahu in this case bribery and fraud and breach of trust.

In the case of the couple Saul and Iris Elovich, it was decided to indict, subject to a bribery hearing, disruption of legal proceedings and impeachment in the investigation against both. In addition, in relation to asking Alovic, it was decided to consider indictment subject to a hearing also in the money laundering and reporting offense, with the aim of misleading a reasonable investor.
