Young people figure prominently in the recovery plan that Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux, the president of Medef, presented. "There is a political consensus to avoid a new generation sacrificed in terms of employment," insisted the spokesman for the entrepreneurs.

To allow them to access their first job, Pierre Gattaz's successor requests help from the public authorities by subsidizing their hiring. By two means: first, via an exemption from employer contributions in the event of a first permanent contract; and secondly, via a bonus of 10,000 euros for the recruitment of an apprentice or a professional contract "for any company, any diploma, the year of recruitment and in installments" - against current aid of 4125 euros.
"Rebuild" the economy
To avoid an explosion of unemployment, the Medef calls more generally to "rebuild" the tricolor economy in two stages: by acting first on demand, to boost consumption, then on supply, to give oxygen to businesses.
