An American family in Oregon was especially surprised when her cat gave birth to six puppies last Wednesday, including one two-faced puppy - so he has four eyes, two noses and two mouths. The cat even got two names - biscuit and grubby or Hebrew translation of biscuits and gravy.
"My wife went out to look at them and found five pretty normal puppies and one with two faces," said owner B.J. King. "We were pretty shocked. It was so weird-looking.

Biscuit and Gravey have one brain stem, but it can eat or suck in both mouths. "For now, the puppy is very successful," the family vet said.

Two-face cats are known as Janus cats, named after the Roman god Janus, who had two faces - one looking to the past and the other to the future. Unfortunately, "Janus" cats usually do not survive for more than one day. A rare case of a surviving cat against all odds is a cat named Frank and Louis who against all odds lived for 15 years and even appeared in the Guinness Book of Records in 2006

This photo was taken about an hour before Biscuits died. Kyla gave up 3 1/2 days of her life to put all of her efforts into saving him. He was born with the longest of odds and by living nearly 4 days, he beat those odds. I wish I hadn't said we wished he was eating more. That prompted many of you to tell us what we were doing wrong. The fact is he was eating very well. What I meant was we knew he could put on weight. He ate a lot, and he peed and pooped a lot. He just didn't grow. It's hard work for a little guy like him to support a large head with two complete faces. We thank all of you who have been so kind, prayed, and wished the best for Biscuits and Gravy. So many of you care and wanted to follow his progress, and said some very nice things to and about us. We will never forget your kindness! ❤️

To increase the chances of biscuit and grubby survival, the King family intends to do everything. While the rest of the puppies have already delivered, they intend to invest most of their resources in the special cat. The family needs to fulfill many of the roles that should be performed if the puppies include feeding at regular intervals and keeping their body warm.
"It's like having a newborn baby," King said. "We have to feed him every two hours during the night as well, so we just get up like a baby sycamore. It's 24 hours a day.
