The Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced the elimination of four ISIS terrorists in a security operation southwest of the capital, Baghdad.
The Sumariah News website quoted the ministry as saying in a statement today that the members of the fourth regiment of the Baghdad Operations Command's 17th Brigade carried out a joint operation with the security services in the Anaz area, southwest of the capital, Baghdad, killing four ISIS terrorists, including one of their leaders.
The statement indicated that during the operation, explosive belts, a number of hand grenades, and other light weapons were seized.
In turn, the Iraqi Military Intelligence Directorate announced the arrest of a terrorist during a qualitative operation in Ramadi Island in Anbar Governorate.
