Three criminals stole around thirty luxury bags during an armed robbery committed at the home of a Nigerian businessman in Paris, for damage estimated at 800,000 euros, AFP learned from concordant sources on Thursday.
The facts, revealed by the Point, took place Wednesday late in the morning, in a building in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. Three people wearing surgical masks on their faces rang the doorbell of the apartment of one of the members of a wealthy Lebanese-Nigerian dynasty who made a fortune in construction and real estate, sources close to the file reported.
The perpetrators managed to enter the apartment and threatened the man with a handgun. They failed to make him open a safe but left with a booty estimated at 800,000 euros and made up of thirty big brand bags and some 3000 euros in cash. The investigation was entrusted to the brigade for the suppression of banditry (BRB).
