Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron agreed Thursday in a telephone interview that the leaders of the G7 countries should meet in person and in the near future, reports the White House. The American and French presidents also discussed progress in the fight against the coronary artery pandemic and the recovery of the economy, of which entire sections have been shut down.

Emmanuel Macron had announced last week that he was ready to travel to the United States in June to attend a G7 summit, if sanitary conditions allow. Donald Trump said the same day that he could finally host a G7 summit at Camp David, near Washington.
